Just checking on what you are using for transmission and hydraulic oil. I think your 450B manual says to use 303 and that spec is way out of date. You need to use JD Hy-Gard or other UTHF meeting John Deere's J20C spec. The wet clutches in the 450C was a huge improvement. The next problem is the wear on the front crossmember. It was another huge improvement when they began using the rigid crossmember on the later model 450C. I believe that there was a change up on the steering clutches, clutch housing and the final drives on the "B" series of 450's. You will known once you pull the steering clutch.
