In my opinion, Crying Child doesn't possess anyone. The only character that it makes any sort of sense for Crying Child to possess is Golden Freddy but that can't work because FNAF 1-3 makes it very clear that Golden Freddy is the 5th MCI victim which FFPS and the Logbook would go onto name Cassidy.
