It doesn't have many MTG player. 30-40 as i know, but only ~10 truly active. In here, people play mostly yugioh, also little Pokemon, Fab, Cardfight, FoW, ... most are unofficial. I think the mtg community still has the potential to grow. If WotC had priced Aftermath like The Dark or Antiquities (relative to 15-card packs) instead of like a Masters set (with ever increasing prices) then it may have been a hit. Sealed mtg blows index funds completely out of the water if all you did was buy at end of print run and hold. That was without exception for pre 2012 sets and still the norm for post-2012 ( Kaladesh if I recall absolutely crushes index funds ). The real problem of MTG is the liquidity and potential tax problems.Modern pokemon is very top heavy. rares are worthless, ultra rares and above have value. Pokemon collectors are more set collectors then MTG collectors. Pokemon only do one type of booster packs.
