Right-clicking on Traits in the Simology panel allows you to give reward traits without spending anything and other CAS traits (though I haven’t tried the latter.) Each of the diagnostic traits have their own icons and I’ve gotten used to those, but I used to refer to a list of diagnoses from the mod page.
