There's a 1000 mile break in period required before towing. You really should not have towed at 500 miles. 2. Towing anything over 1000 lbs requires the use of trailer brakes. You're overloading the car's brakes otherwise. The SGP platform and acoustical glass (side and front) make it quiet. Outback had a wind noise problem until 18 when they re-shaped the mirrors and added side acoustical glass. You still get the tire and wind noise through the doors. I had a brief puff of blue smoke on day 2 with my 2020. I checked the oil level and it was overfilled. I did an oil change, myself, making sure not to overfill. No more blue smoke. Oil capacity is 4.8 quarts with filter change.The sensor looked robust enough, but an impact could certainly break it.I have a feeling this may be a common fix in the future, not just for Ascents but for any vehicle that come with a lot of extra sensors n stuff. I read that as do not drive down the highway and subject the hood to vibration other wise going to screw up the adhesive.
