Bryce to Salt Lake City by the scenic route, scenic byway highway 12, to Torrey and on to Park City is almost a six hour drive. Bryce to Park City by the fastest route is a 4.5 hour drive, no stops. We have never encountered on our trips to Utah and AZ but last week at Zion I wished I had brought more of my Deep Off wipes - we encountered on a few trails at Zion and at Snow Canyon on one trail and at the Tuacahn outdoor theater.
